At about 9 p.m., a Ford van occupied by six people was traveling west on Route 80 in Allamuchy Township when the driver lost control, causing the van to strike the center median and overturn on its side, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.

Five passengers suffered minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
